This charming cafe has carved out a niche for itself in the bustling locality, inviting patrons with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. With a menu that expertly balances comfort food and healthy options, Abbott’s Kitchen is perfect for any meal of the day.

The cafe's offerings shine particularly at breakfast time, where items such as the Veggi Breaky and the Healthy Breaky cater to those seeking a nutritious start, while the classic Breakfast Burger and Breakfast Omelette satisfy those with a heartier appetite. Customers rave about the generous portions they receive for an unbelievable value, making it an ideal spot for both busy tradespeople and families alike.

Many rave about the Bacon and Sausage options, perfectly cooked to crispy perfection, while the thoughtful inclusion of tea or coffee with their breakfast dishes adds an extra touch of value that many appreciate. According to regulars, the atmosphere is vibrant and friendly, often filled with the sounds of uplifting 80s and 90s music, making it a delightful place to unwind.

One customer, Steve Rodwell, notes that the cafe is regularly filled with “tradies” – the hearty, hardworking crowd that knows when they’ve found good food. Just to avoid confusion, online says called Poppy's kitchen, but sign on outside premises says Abbots Kitchen. Google maps will get you there, it's adjacent to Shield and Dagger pub for landmark. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Excellent vegetarian breakfast exceptional price includes tea or coffee which is very sensible and welcome to all. Lunch menu looks just as good and reasonably priced also. Local newsagents recommended Jacket potatoes for lunch time.

Outstanding cafe!! From walking in you’re greeted with a lovely, friendly atmosphere and an array of choices to choose from the menu. You get fantastic portions for the price you pay & you never have to wait long, even when they’re busy. The girls work extremely hard, but always have time to have a quick chat & a laugh. I highly recommend this cafe. Now officially crowned Bristol’s best cafe, congratulations Sandra & team, very well deserved!! Thank you all so much. Keep being amazing!!
